September

There is a crisp coolness in the air, in the mornings, as September rolls in on us.  The children will be going back to school in a couple days and the summer that wasn't is nearing its end. Time to take another look at your landscape. Your lawn or trees may need some tending to before the winter months roll in.

Tree Fertilizing

With the first week of October upon us, we should be thinking about our yard clean up and getting our trees ready for the winter. A deep root application of quality fertilizer to your trees root system will help keep your trees and shrubs well-nourished. Well-nourished plants have better resistance to disease and insect attack and will weather drought conditions much better. This application will also encourage beautiful foliage the following season. Call Pinnacle Tree for your fertilizing now.

Firewood

When the cold winds of October are blowing, nothing warms your spirits more than hearing the wood crackling from your toasty fire in the fireplace. Along with the leaves of the trees turning bright colours, the weather is also becoming cooler now. You should be checking that your store of firewood is ready for the winter. Pinnacle has a good supply of seasoned firewood for sale if you don’t have enough for the winter.

Summers End

Waking to bright, sunny mornings are a thing of the past. With summer officially ending as of yesterday, we are now awakening to dark and cooler mornings. Fall is upon us and it is time to enjoy our last adventures outdoors before the cold winds of winter are upon us.

Safety Policy A Must

Before hiring a tree service company, always check to make sure that the company has a Safety Policy in place. Recently, a tree care worker in Brandon Manitoba recently cut his eye while using a chainsaw. Eye protection should always be used while operating a chainsaw.
